President’s Thank YouW elcome to our 24th annual educational conference of the Utility Supply Management Alliance and to the wonderful city of Scottsdale Arizona. The Scottsdale area is beautiful desert country. With over 200 golf courses, many world class resorts, Scottsdale is a visitor’s paradise. We have an outstanding conference set up this year with some excellent networking opportunities and if time permits before or after the conference I hope you will take time to explore and enjoy this beautiful area.
Our primary goal is to present information, and to create a safe space for rich dialogue. Our Attendance, Marketing and Program committees listened to the feedback we received from all of our attendees last year in Florida, and are very excited to have developed a program based on your feedback and insight for the most pressing issues in our industry when it comes to supply chain. I also want to remind everyone that our goal is to provide you with ideas, best practices, and concepts that you can take home and use.
I want to thank the USMA Board of Directors for their hard work and dedication. They have researched a number of topics and have selected an outstanding group of captivating speakers with some very enlightening presentations. As you know the Board of Directors and all of our speakers put a great deal of time and effort in being sure that they prepare the very best material for presentation for all of our attendees. As we all know this industry is full of changes so we do our best to be prepared prior to each conference. We would like to ask that you please provide your feedback through our conference app or by sharing your thoughts with a Board member or our meeting staff. No matter how much you enjoy our conference we want to be sure to improve each and every year so we are sure to exceed your expectations in delivering one of the best conferences in the industry! If there is anything I can do or our board can do during your time here at the USMA please let us know, we are very happy to have you!
